The Tee Set were a pop band from Delft, The Netherlands. They had 2 Hot 100 singles in 1970- this was their only Top 40 hit in the U.S. The bands follow up single to “Ma Belle Amie”- “She Likes Weeds” was banned in the US because it was set to refer to drug use. It went to #1 in The Netherlands. The band broke up in 1975. This single went to #5 but until now I am pretty sure I have never heard it.
There is something about this song I really like. It is a great pop tune.
