Their two #1 hits came in 1969- “Aquarius/ Let The Sun Shine In” and “Wedding Bell Blues.” ‘Blowing Away” written by Laura Nyro was on her debut album from 1967 “More Than A New Discovery.” The musicians who backed up The 5th Dimension on most of their recordings was the famous Wrecking Crew.
