I love Lu Lu. I think she has a top notch voice. I would give Oh Me, Oh My an A.
I had one of the Steppenwolf greatest hits compilations–the one with Snow Blind Friend. I think it’s one of the best greatest hits albums. I never did care for Monster though. I would usually skip that one. It’s a weird song. Steppenwolf as environmental activists?…Not a good look.
Never did like The Lettermen. To me, that would be torture–to be forced to listen to The Letterman. Ugh!
The Lettermen are dreadful we agree!!
I like Lulu’s song too.
I’ve only had Steppenwolf’s greatest hits packages…never had an original album. There are a few non-hits I like but overall don’t know much about them. Kay’s voice is one of a kind… I will say that. I saw a version of them in the 80s…he is a good frontman.
IIRC Steppenwolf had an album with Monster on one side The Pusher on the other. Monster is a manifesto of magnificence in my eyes.
Pretty nice ballad from Lulu and a lot better than her boom-boom-Eurovision trash.
Besides sucking at music, the Lettermen also look like friends of Brett Kavanaugh, lol………..
well you can’t expect good music out of people who look like that! LOL.
Yeah, really! They look more ’70s on the Greatest Hits album but on the complete hits they look like versions of Brett’s friends as satirized on SNL by Matt Damon: PJ and Squi and Handsy Hank and Gang Bang Greg, LOL ! ! !
