After having 4 Top 40 singles in 1968 including a #1 in “Honey” [gag] – Bobby Goldsboro’s momentum came to a halt in 1969- he had 3 Hot 100 singles none made the Top 40. Grade: C

432. ‘Maybe The Rain Will Fall”- The Cascades. Uni. Pop. Written by Carl Storie. B:Side:”Naggin’ Cries.” Peaked at # 61 and spent 6 weeks on the chart. This pop group from formed in San Diego- had 5 singles make the Hot 100 but only one made the Top 40 that was a big one- #3 “Rhythm Of The Rain” 1963. Grade: B-

433. “I Do”- The Moments. Stang. Soul. Written by Kenneth Ruffin. B:Side:” Pocketful of Heartbreaks.” Peaked at #62 6 weeks in the Hot 100. R&B group from Hackensack, New Jersey- their big hit would come in 1970- “Love On A Two Way Street.” Grade: C+
