The 3rd of 3 Hot 100 singles in 1969 for The Delfonics out of Philadelphia- it is the only one to crack the Top 40- just making it. Grade: B

B-side:”I’ll Never Be Alone Again.” Peaked at #53 and spent 17 weeks on the chart- an incredible stat there 17 weeks on the chart and it didn’t get any higher than #53. Evie Sands was a New York City rocker who had 3 Hot 100 singles 1969-71- never cracking the Top 40. Grade: B+
