B-side:”I’m Gonna Make It Up To You” Born Bobby Velline in Fargo, North Dakota- Bobby Vee had 38 Hot 100 and 14 Top 40 singles from 1959-70. His biggest hit was #1 Take Good Care Of My Baby” 1961. “Let’s Call It A Day Girl” peaked at #92 and spent 2 weeks on the chart. This is the first single I haven’t been able to find online. Grade:

408.”The Hunter”- Ike and Tina Turner. Blue Thumb. Soul. Written by Al Jackson Jr, Booker T. Jones, Carl Wells, Ike Turner, Junior Wells and Steve Cropper. B-side:” Crazy ‘Bout My Baby.” Ike and Tina had 4 hot 100 hits in 1969 but none of them got any higher than #59. “The Hunter” peaked at #93 and spent 2 weeks on the chart. Grade: B+

409. “Let Me Be The Man My Daddy Was”- Chi-Lites. Brunswick. Soul. Written by Barbara Acklin and Eugene Record. B-side:”The Twelfth Of Never” The Chi-Lites first two singles came out in 1969 and neither were very successful- it wouldn’t be until 1971 that they would start their period of chart success. “Let Me Be The Man My Daddy Was” peaked at #94 and spent 3 weeks on the chart. B-side:”Where Have You Gone.’ Ruby Andrews had 3 Hot 100 singles from 1967-69- this was the final one- none of them came close to the Top 40. “You Made A Believer {Out Of Me} peaked at #96 and spent 2 weeks on the chart. Tina Turner one was good. I know that Ike & Tina Turner was a duo, but I don’t remember Ike much other than how he treated Tina.
