Wilson Pickett and Duane Allman on Hey Joe sound freegin fantastic. Dusty, the usual good.
Wow! Thanks for the Duane Allman info.
One of my top 5-7 songs is life is “Please Be With Me.”
When I was listening to the song- I didn’t know who was playing guitar but it sounded so good I knew it was someone great- and wasn’t surprised when I found out it was Duane.
In the 90s, Wilson Pickett actually lived two towns away from where I use to live -He was frequently on the local cable TV news program for getting arrested a lot -He drove his car up on the mayors front lawn and about a year after that he hit a pedestrian who died of injuries some time later – He spent some time in the local county jail for these things – Wilson Pickett was always on the news for doing something, Still was a great singer though!
Sounds like some athletes and celebrities today- can’t stay out of the news for good or ill.
