This Must Be The Place:”American Ride”- Willie Nile. “American Ride” is a musical journey across America written by Willie Nile and Mike Peters from The Alarm. I would recommend the entire album- Willie Nile is one of those rare artists who seems to have gotten better the older he has gotten.  In the past I have made a half dozen journey’s across the country and in planning the trip I have gathered up music/ artists that fit the part of the country I am in at any given time. If I had to pick one region of the country whose music I love the most- I’d have to go with the area covering Memphis and down into the Mississippi Delta.
