The Sounds of Summer: Day 79/95: “Walking On Sunshine”- Eddy Grant. Not to be confused with another song of the same name- by Katrina and The Waves which came along a few years later. Eddy Grant’s song was released in 1978- before he hit it big with “Electric Avenue.” “Walking On Sunshine” only had some play in the US on the R&B chart where it peaked at #86. One of those singles which should have been a hit. A good summer feeling tune.
