I can’t recall not being a sports fanatic- and  my all time favorite athletes are – I can’t choose between them- Muhammad Ali- who was of my childhood and Babe Ruth who had died a dozen years before I was born. Both men were bigger than their sport- or even sports- two of the most well known people of the 20th century.
