  • CAN YOU DIG IT? THE 70’S SOUL EXPERIENCE: 2001: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: DISC 1: CD: 6 cds with 136 tracks-65 of the songs hit #1 on the pop or soul chart. It does a great job of summing up a great period of soul music. No Aretha or Stevie-but the omissions are few.  Rhino did a much better job on this box set than on the 80’s box set we listened to on Friday and Saturday.
