As a single it went to #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Easy Listening chart. I haven’t heard or thought of this song in years. It is a great song in describing popular activities in the summer time- and the music seems to fit summer too. It was the last big hit War -had- from 1970-76 they had 7 Top 10 hits.
