191. “Breakfast In Bed”- Dusty Springfield. Atlantic. Pop.Soul. Written by Eddie Hinton and Donnie Fritts. “Breakfast In Bed” is the B-side to “Don’t Forget About Me” which entered the charts on March 1 and peaked at #64. “Breakfast In Bed” would spend 2 weeks in the Hot 100 and peak at #91. Grade: B

192. “It’s A Groovy World!”-Unifics. Kapp. Soul. Written by Guy Draper. B-side”Memories.” Unifics were an R&B band formed at Howard University in Washington,D.C. They had 3 Hot 100 singles with 2 making the Top 40 in 1968- “Court Of Love” #25 and “The Beginning Of My End” #36. “It’s A Groovy World!” the last of the three Hot 100 singles was the least successful- it peaked at #97 and spent 2 weeks on the chart. Grade: B-

193. “I Can’t Do Enough”- The Dells. Cadet. Soul. Written by Bobby Miller. “I Can’t Do Enough” is the b-side to “Hallways Of My Mind” which entered the charts in March and peaked at #92. “I Can’t Do Enough” spent 2 weeks on the chart and peaked at #98. The Dells would have 5 Hot 100 hits in 1969. More to come later in the year. Grade: B-
