- MARSHALL CRENSHAW: MARSHALL CRENSHAW: 1982: 5+ OUT OF 5 STARS: My original album after 35 years has a few crinkles in it so when I saw this on sale Saturday at a record store for $2 I thought it was time for an upgrade- one of my favorite albums ever.
- MARSHALL CRENSHAW: FIELD DAY: 1983: 4 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: While the second Crenshaw album in my collection isn’t as worn out as the debut it never hurts to have a back up copy.

- PETULA CLARK: GREATEST HITS VOLUME 1: 1968: 4 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: I made a record store owners day on Saturday. Among my purchases was this used album and when he was checking me out he got all excited- about my buying this album. He started going on about how great she is and that no one he mentions her to seem to even know who she is. I would guess the fella was around 40 so it wasn’t like he was a fan from back in the 60’s when she was having hits. I surely didn’t expect a response like that when I picked up this album but he was all excited.

Looks like you got some good ones at record store day. Is that on the same day every year? I remember Petula Clark. She had a lot of hits didn’t she.
She had more hits than I thought.. I think record day is sometime in mid- April every year..
