In the past few years few movies have interested me- but seeing this preview has me interested in seeing “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” when it opens on July 26th and the trailer for “Blinded By The Light” which opens August 14th. Want to see them both.

Yeah, I want to see this too.
DAYUM! I’ll be going to at least the Tarantino one — looks like another winner, and may or may not see the other one in the theater, but it looks super good also.
both look like they could be fun.
YES
That Blinded By The Light is a true story about a music writer in the UK who’s work I’m very fond of. Looks like a riot
I believe the movie was written by that writer.
Indeed it was
They both look great. I’m glad Tarantino is finally doing one actually set in that era.
There is very seldom a time anymore where I have a desire to go to the theater- due to what is usually playing. These are two I will go see. I agree that is a good era for Tarantino to go to.
My son keeps me connected with current movies and both of these were on his radar and he showed them to me. We plan to go… although Yesterday is first.
Yes don’t forget Yesterday!! I used to love going to the movies but I am not into seeing the movies that are for the most part -made today.
Unless you like super hero movies you are out of luck most of the time. Hopefully they will see there is more out there than that.
Everything runs its course- when the masses tire of the super hero movies they will move on to something else.
I’m keen to see “Blinded by the Light”, and less so by the Tarantino film, but I’ll still give it a look.
Definitely nice to see movies from other people’s point of view (Blinded by the Light) and super cool to hear it’s based on the writer who wrote it!
Did you see the shot in Tarantino’s where they’re standing inside Musso & Frank’s? I went in there many years ago and it was the WEIRDEST experience. The place is dark and dank and the waiters–all men–were mostly very old, very sad and morose and the entire outing was strange and quite the downer, lol !!
I am not familiar with Musso and Frank’s?
Actually, they’re standing outside Musso & Frank’s, not inside. It’s a famous Hollywood restaurant that’s been around for ages. The decor inside was less than inviting, not updated at all, which ordinarily would be charming, right? But just felt creepy there. Dark. Which probably worked well for those who wished to remain unseen. This was over 20 years ago, though. Maybe they’ve renovated since then and I’m just talking about a past that no longer exists.
