Instead of picking up where I left off- I am just going to do the countdown on one post and close that one up. After the picture of the artist I added the cover of my favorite album of theirs.

I have no idea how I missed him, but I never heard of Leonard Cohen until he passed away. Now I can’t get enough.
Great- that happens sometimes. It’s like how did I miss this? But better late than never. He is an amazing writer. I wish I had seen him live.

Months ago when I was jotting down names- I had well over 100 names on the list it was hard to narrow town to 33. A lot of good music out there!

Great list! While I haven’t figured out my top 33, apart from many artists you selected, I think it would also include Cream, Steely Dan, Bonnie Raitt, Carole King, Eagles, Deep Purple, John Mellencamp, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, James Brown and Curtis Mayfield. As I’m jotting down all these names, I realize how difficult it must be to narrow things down to 33 artists! 🙂
I came across the paper that I was jotting down names on months ago when working on the list- I could have made a Hot 100 and still left off some good ones..a good problem to have.. Marvin and Stevie would have been in my Top 50…The Eagles-well I will go with what Jeffrey Lebowski said on those boys….
Ha! It’s okay, I know you’re not particularly fond of the Eagles. As I’ve said before, the world would be boring if we all had the same taste. Plus, hey, at least I didn’t include your all-time favorite band – The Osmonds!😆
