The Rolling Stones Song of the Day- Sway. Sway was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and is the second song on side 1 of Sticky Fingers. Sway was also released as the b-side to the Wild Horses single. Sway is a blues song and is highlighted by the slide guitar solo of Mick Taylor. It is also believed that Pete Townshend and Ronnie Lane are singing background vocals on the song. The Rolling Stones didn’t do this song in concert until 2006 as part of the Bigger Bang Tour. Taylor would return on several shows in 2013 to play slide guitar on Sway. This was the first song that The Rolling Stones recorded at Stargroves- the recording studio built outside of Mick’s home. The song itself deals with depression. A great album cut from one of The Rolling Stones best albums.
Good one
The best i think👯♂️
It’s one of the most loved deep cuts ever, I think.
I always thought the Black Crowes wrote Sister Luck with this one in mind. Great song
That solo…one of the best
