Sunday it will finally be here- after two weeks of hype- the New England Patriots vs the Los Angeles Rams at Mercedes- Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The good news going in is- Jim Nantz and Tony Romo- the finest announcing team in football will be doing the game. Romo is a sensation- I wonder if he knows the lottery numbers in advance-because he seems to know everything that is going to happen on the football field ahead of when it actually happens. Jim Nantz is a true pro- one of the best. So glad Joe Buck isn’t doing it this year.
The game- it seems like every New England Super Bowl in the Belichick/ Brady era has been a down to the wire cliffhanger- and I can’t expect otherwise on Sunday. I think it will be a close one- I am rooting for New England and I think Belichick and Brady will find a way- final score New England 34-27. I look for Belichick to shut down the Rams running game and make Rams QB Jared Goff beat them. I look for an entertaining game.
I like dynasties. Green Bay, Steelers, 49’s…I’m rooting for the Patriots… Most people I know would root for Satan against the Patriots… I have a feeling if they win…Brady and/or Belichick may retire…at least one of them.
I am probably the only Steeler fan in the world rooting for the Patriots.
Rams who?
I’m originally from Boston but I don’t have a sports gene. My son lives in LA so Idk…
It is amazing how many championships Boston teams have won this century. Patriots 5- Red Sox 4- Celtics and Bruins 1 each. Will you watch the game?
I have to watch. I have family here who plan to take over my TV and refrigerator.
Even non-fans seem to watch the game- with the commercials and halftime show drawing people in too.
