The Rolling Stones Song of the Day is- Who’s Driving Your Plane?- written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards it was the b-side to the hit single “Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing In The Shadow?” The song is a Chicago blues influenced song- the kind of song The Rolling Stones were very competent of pulling off. Lyrically the song is another Aftermath type song with Mick ripping into his girlfriend. The song wouldn’t appear on an American album release until 1989. Not the most memorable Rolling Stones b-side- but still in a word a ‘competent’ work. At this point they could do something like this in their sleep.
