The Rolling Stones Song of the Day is Down The Road Apiece. The song is on The Rolling Stones No.2 and was written by songwriter Don Raye back in 1940-when it was recorded by the Will Bradley Trio.  The song would be covered by the real King of Rock And Roll- Chuck Berry in 1960 and this is how The Rolling Stones became acquainted with it. The Stones had been playing it since their earliest days in concert- before Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman had even joined the band.
