Another album my mom had that I listened to all the time. Roy’s first spoken words, “Seems the love I have known….” forever etched.
I bought his greatest hits years ago just because of that song. Great song and performance.
I’m guessing you enjoyed watching Hee Haw? Sometimes they even let Roy demonstrate his guitar-playing talents
I watched it as a kid a lot at my grandparents- I liked some of the music they had- I guess what i was meaning is- when Roy Clark or Buck Owens are mentioned people seem to think Hee- Haw- when that shouldn’t be what they are thinking- Roy was a great guitar and banjo player- and Buck was one of the great country artists of the 60’s… but they are remembered for the silliness of Hee-Haw… again I am sure they were well compensated over the years doing that show.
