COMING OUT OF THE NATIONAL LEAGUE TO PLAY IN THE 2018 WORLD SERIES- MEET THE OLD BOSS-SAME AS THE OLD BOSS- THE LOS ANGELES DODGERS WHO REPRESENTED THE NATIONAL LEAGUE LAST YEAR WILL RETURN TO THE FALL CLASSIC.
Cardinals fan here. If they finish that high, then the three below them will be downright awful. The starting rotation is iffy and they have no closer. I hope I’m wrong!
I think you got it barring major injuries plaques.
Giants fan here…hoping they do a whole lot better than last season.
Maybe they can put it together one more time..
Watch the Rockies and even the Braves as surprise teams. Mets pitching will also be worth looking at.
Great blog! Brewers fan here. Gotta take them over the Cardinals. Would love for you to come check out my predictions.
Reds fan here…hoping they can figure out some pitching this year so it’s not another year in last place.
What is the Reds problem with their lack of ability to develop pitchers?
This is the 100 million dollar question. I think a lot of our recent problems stem back from when the Reds signed Homer Bailey (who seems to always be injured) to a 6 year 105 million dollar contract. At the time of signing him to that contract, his career record was 5 games over .500. So when it comes time to sign Cueto or Mike Leake to extensions (better records) they can’t afford it. So they leave and then young guys who aren’t ready for the majors are thrown into the fire and lose confidence. Not a good problem to have.
