• GUNS ‘N ROSES: GREATEST HITS: 2004: 3 1/2 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: Only three songs from their greatest album? Too many covers. Song selection is poor on this one. It should have been pretty easy to compile.
• GUY CLARK: THE ESSENTIAL GUY CLARK: 1997: 4 1/2 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS:  One of the great under-appreciated -at least by the public- songwriters. This came out 20 years ago long before his career and life ended. Covers his RCA years.  I read somewhere recently a great quote on Guy Clark- the person said he had life down to three things- he liked making guitars, smoking cigarettes and writing songs. I notice in the above picture he has a cigarette in his hands.
