• THE BEATLES: ON AIR- LIVE AT THE BBC VOLUME 2:2013: DISC 1: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: After nearly 20 years a release of new material that The Beatles did for the BBC in their early days. I like the earlier set more than this one but still its great and I wish they would release everything The Beatles did at the BBC. A lot of talking on this one.

• ELVIS COSTELLO& THE ROOTS: WISE UP GHOST: 2013: 3 1/2 STARS OUT OF 5: The last album of EC’s career? 4 years later it is at least his most recent one. You never know with EC what was coming next but who guessed a he’d hook up with the hip hop band The Roots? This album took a number of listens to enjoy.
• BOB DYLAN: EMPIRE BURLESQUE: 1985: 3 1/2 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS:  A decent album- with some pretty good songs- “Dark Eyes’ “Emotionally Yours” “Clean Cut Kid” and “Tight Connection To Your Heart” stand out.
