On June 3, 1953- sixty four years ago today- Elvis Presley graduated from Humes High School in Memphis, Tennessee. Elvis was the first in his family to graduate from high school. A couple months later in August the 18 year old recent graduate would walk into Sam Phillips- Sun Records office and the rest would become history.
