Actor William Shatner turns 86 today. Shatner will forever be known for his role as Captain James Tiberius Kirk in the original “Star Trek” television series. Hard to believe that the “Star Trek” series only lasted three seasons. One of those shows that became more popular after its run was over. Shatner has stayed visible over the years, doing the Star Trek movies and other television shows and commercials but when all is said and done, when he passes and his obituary is written, the “Star Trek” role will be in the first paragraph. Loved the old Star Trek, Shatner overacted but what they heck. Some people seem old or seem their age, Shatner is 86? No way was my first reaction.
