Singer-songwriter Alan O’Day has died of cancer at the age of 72. O’Day is most famous for his #1 hit in 1977 “Undercover Angel” and for writing another #1 for Helen Ready in 1974 “Angie Baby.” O’Day also wrote The Rightous Brothers #3 hit “Rock And Roll Heaven.” He would later write songs for television programs.
