On this day in 1940 the first McDonald’s restaurant opened in San Bernardino, California. McDonald’s began as a barbecue restaurant owned by Richard and Maurice McDonald. There are now 34,000 McDonald’s around the world. Not a big McDonald’s fan. My two favourite fast food places are Chick Fil A and White Castle.

At this point in my life I enjoy the McDonalds breakfast. I think I have out grown the burgers.
