On this day in 1994 three -time Formula One World Champion Aryton Senna of Brazil was killed in an accident during the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola. Senna is considered by most experts to be one of the greatest if not the greatest driver in Formula One history. In his 161 starts he had 41 victories and 80 podiums. Senna remains the last Formula One driver fatality.

this was the best F1 driver. i have not seen the documentary on him, but i have been looking for it. truly a loss.
