His wife of one day Eva Braun bit into a cyanide capsule and Hitler shot himself in the head. The best decision he ever made. Their bodies were carried up the stairs of the bunker and through the bunker’s emergency exit to the bombed -out garden behind the Reich Chancellery, where they were played in a bom crater and doused with petrol. Their corpses were set on fire. They weren’t going to Mussolini-Hitler.  I can’t think of many deaths that I’ve actually been happy over. When they got Bin Laden I was happy but I can’t recall many others. I am sure had I been alive when Hitler met his end, it would have been a day of celebration. {I wonder what it will be like in Miami IF Fidel Castro ever dies.?}
