The Houston Texans are coming off their finest season in franchise history going 12-4 and winning the AFC South. They finished 7th in both Total Offense and Total Defense. They need help on offense at wide receiver. They have one of the best in the NFL in Andre Johnson but they need someone to take a little pressure off of him. They also need some help at linebacker and safety on defense.

With the 27th pick in Round 1- the Houston Texans select Keenan Allen WR California 6’2″ 206. He is not a big vertical threat but Allen is a strong handed pass catcher who has run after the catch ability. He’s a smart receiver who should be an immediate help for the Texans offense.
