Round 1 Pick 9 is the New York Jets. Who knows what they will do-they are the J-E-T-S. I can’t wait to see the reaction  of Jet fan whoever they select. The Jets are in dire need of a quarterback but we have the top QB Geno Smith going in the pick before to the Bills. I do not think the Jets are going to go USC at quarterback again. I would at least hope not If I were a Jets fan. They have other needs on offense- wide receiver and offensive line and on defense at outside linebacker and the defensive backfield.  I think they would go with a linebacker if Ansah, Jordan or Mingo are available. We have all three of them being off the board by pick 9.

Round 1 Pick 9 New York Jets select Cordarrelle Patterson WR Tennessee 6-1 216 4.42 40. Patterson is a raw talent who may not star right away but he’s the best wide receiver prospect on the board and could become a star down the road. The Jets need help at WR- if Holmes is your best WR you need help. Give Sanchez a toy. If Sanchez doesn’t do it this year you’d think this is it for him. Who knows.
