The Oakland Raiders have the third pick in the upcoming draft. The Raider haven’t had a winning season since their 2002 Super Bowl season. This is one of the worst run franchises in the NFL. Al Davis changes coaches it seems on a yearly basis [and I believe Al Davis even though he has died-is still somehow- if not calling the shots at least signing off on moves} They can’t keep a coach or a quarterback. The trade in the middle of 2011 of two first round picks for Carson Palmer[ who was traded yesterday to Arizona} was one of the worst deals in NFL history. What were they thinking? The Raiders may still be in the market for a quarterback. They recently got from Seattle Matt Flynn but he is untested. They may go out and draft quarterback Geno Smith. With the Raiders anything is possible. The Raiders have many needs though and I think they will at least for the 2013 season go with Flynn. The Raiders major needs are on defense- all over the defense. I think they will go with one of the strengths in this draft and take a defensive lineman with their first round pick.

Oakland Raiders select with the 3rd pick in the first round select Sharrif Floyd 6′ 2″ 297 4.92 40. He could be an end or a tackle. The Raiders need help on the line and Floyd should give them immediate help.
