2013 NFL Mock Draft By Slicethelife/ 2nd Pick- Jacksonville Jags

The Jacksonville Jaguars have the second pick in the upcoming NFL draft. They have a needs all over the place. This team is probably the worst team in the sport. They need a quarterback bad. They are already giving up on 2011 first round draft choice QB Blaine Gabbert. That was a reach in 2011. I don’t know what there were thinking. A wish pick. With the second pick they could take Geno Smith the best quarterback prospect in the draft but taking him at #2 is a reach. I don’t think they will make the same mistake twice in three years. They will pick up a quarterback later in the draft { remember last year in the 3rd round Seattle was able to get Russell Wilson} The Jags have a lot of needs but I think they have to get to work on their defense. They need lineman/linebackers and defensive backs.

Second Pick in the NFL Draft- Jacksonville Jags- Dee Milliner- CB- Alabama. 5’11” 201. runs a 4.37 40. An All-American out of National Champion Alabama. He is the best cornerback in the draft and the Jags have a huge need at this position.  There is a drop off at this position this year in the draft. Take the best one with the second pick. Other possibilites are DT Sharrif Floyd of Florida and Dion Jordan OLB from Oregon but I am sticking with Dee Milliner as the Jags pick.

  1. i will disagree with this pick – you logic is solid and sound and while i agree – we are talking jax here, not quite cleveland, but close so there is no way they would do something this wise.
