Yesterday I mistakenly put the Astros in the American League Central..so let’s remove them from 6th place in the Central and move them to 5th in the West.
1- Los Angeles Angels.. What a group of hitters. The key will be the pitching. After Weaver it’s a little iffy but they should get some run support. Angels will win the division.
2. Texas Rangers. Rangers are still strong even though Hamilton is now in Los Angeles. They will battle it out with the Angels. Whoever finishes second will get a wild card.
3- Oakland Athletics- I see a winning season but the A’s are just outmanned by Los Angeles and Texas.
4- Seattle Mariners. They are looking a little better than last year but another losing season in the cards.
5. Houston Astros. The Astros are rebuilding. They can only get better.

i like trout, but i feel bad for him with all of the media scrutiny that will follow him. can you imagine if hornsby, or big train, or ted williams had to play under the microscope that he will be under his whole career.
