On this day in 1939, less than six months after declaring that Germany had no further claims on European terrritory, Adolf Hitler leads his forces into the Czechoslovakian capital of Prague. No one should have ever trusted Hitler but British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain would.
Not that we don’t live in interesting times but I can’t imagine what it was like in the late 30’s -40’s as Hitler marched through Europe. We know the outcome now but the outcome of all this at the time was far from certain.

History is the time for the present, to learn how to improve the future, not about how to make better wars? Great posting, thank you for your visit.
