Jean Kennedy Smith- the last surviving of the nine children of Joe and Rose Kennedy turns 85 today. She was the 8th of 9 children which of course included President John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy who may have become president had he not been assassinated and Ted Kennedy who could have been president if he had known how to drive. Jean Kennedy Smith was the Ambassador to Ireland from 1993-98 under POTUS Bill Clinton.

Wow! I hadn’t realized that! They sure had their numbers knocked down from one tragedy after another…No fan of the clan, I did feel sad for them, lots of pain in that family for sure, much of it by their own hands also?
