Three famous people born 100 years ago today- the great baseball play-by-play man Mel Allen, college football coaching great Woody Hayes and labor union leader Jimmy Hoffa.
James Riddle Hoffa was born 100 years ago today. He was a labor union leader- of the Teamsters Union. He led a very interesting life to say the least. His death in 1975 is still a mystery. He disappeared July 30th, 1975. His body has never been found. All kinds of theories. He was buried in the end zone at old Giants Stadium in New Jersey. He was made into Jimmy Hoffaburgers, Every year there seems to be a new story as to where he ended up. I doubt we ever know for sure.

i think this, like the Dan Cooper (usually mistakenly DB Cooper) are best just as they are. it would end the mystery and mystique if the answers were known.
