Lawrence Taylor aka LT turns 54 today. No matter what you think of LT’s personal life and behavior off of the field there is no denying his greatness on the football field. Quarterbacks from the 1980’s probably still have nightmares of #56. LT was an All-Pro for the first ten years of his 13 year career with the New York Giants. He was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year three times and the MVP one season. He was a two time Super Bowl champion. What an exciting player he was to watch. He was an offensive coordinators worst nightmare[and a quarterbacks] Not much of a human being but there was never a greater defensive football player.
