Totally agree with the POTUS on this one. If I had a son I would do my best to steer him into other sports before it would be football. The NFL may be the most popular sport in the United States today but in 25 years it won’t exist. At least as we know it. Slowly the game will change and people are not going to care for the changes.

I know a quarter back from Stanford University who had to quit because of concussions. I don’t think it’s worth it. Sport shouldn’t be this dangerous.
I agree.. If I had a son…no way would i approve of football… i love watching the game…but its not worth the price for those who play it..
I think people will still like it as long as the changes come incrementally, which I believe they will. After all, I don’t think there’s a single baseball fan who likes the designated hitter but it’s been with us for about 40 years now. Entertainment is what pays big time, and as long as footbally continues to be entertaining, it will survive.
