John Roberts the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court turns 58 today. John Roberts was nominated to the Supreme Court in 2005 to replace Chief Justice William Rehnquist who had died in September of that year. He was the third youngest Chief Justice at the age of 50. For the most part Roberts has been a conservative judge in his rulings and this is why he shocked everyone when he changed his vote at the last minute in the Obamacare decision this past summer. You never know about these things but Roberts could very well be the chief justice for another 25 years or so.
