Warren Zevon was a regular guest on Late Night With David Letterman. On his last appearance he was the only guest for the hour. He was dying of cancer. The way he talks about it and accepts the fact that he is dying is amazing.There are a few people who come to mind as far as how they handled their deaths- basketball coach Jimmy Valvano, Mickey Mantle and Warren Zevon immediately come to mind. The one line I will always remember from this interview is when Letterman asked Warren if his condition has taught him anything about life and death ” How much your supposed to enjoy every sandwich” Zevon replied.
