Rapper L.L. Cool J. [which stands for Ladies Love Cool James} turns 45 today. He was born James Todd Smith in Bay Shore, New York. His first album was released in 1985 “Radio” Over the years he has released 12 studio albums. He has had 13 Top 40 singles on the Billboard Pop Charts. I especially like his first four albums. My favourite L.L. Cool J. song has to be “Going Back To Cali” from 1988. “Mama Said Knock You Out” would be a close second. “I Can’t Live Without My Radio” is pretty great too. L.L. Cool J. is also an actor and an author[he has written four books.}
