NFL Divisional Round – if wagering were legal

2-2 last week. Not really the awe inspiring start that I wanted to have for this years playoffs. Only seven games left, until the NFL folds the tent and once again heads off into the sunset. With that said, lets get to the games.

Home team in all caps.

bal at DEN -9 – the broncos destroyed the Ravens not long ago. There are some injured players that return, but it probably will not matter. Denver is the better team, and if we are putting our fake bankroll at risk who are you betting on Flacco on the road or Manning at home? Exactly.

green bay +3 at SAN FRAN – the Packers are a formidable road team. The Niners are not getting as much defensive pressure as they once were. I think Aaron Rodgers is the difference in this game. I think Rodgers gets hit a few times, but leads the Packers to the win. I really do not like the fact that the Pack has seemingly given up on running the ball. Usually not a good thing to feature.

sea +3 at ATL – The Seahags might be the hottest team in the NFL right now. Atlanta has been a fraud at home in the playoffs the last few years. I would like to think that Atlanta is legit, but there are some games from this season that do not sit well, should have lost to Carolina if the cats run the ball and convert on 4th and 2 instead of punting. Barely beating the Raiders counts as another head scratcher. I will take my chances with the Seahags.

hou +9 at NEP – yep the Texans were absolutely wasted in week 14 that sent them on a spiral that cost them a bye week. I think the Pats are a better team, but I have a feeling the Texans might do something a bit crazy.

Here’s to another happy week of football viewing!
