
Scotty Moore who was the great guitarist for Elvis Presley during the first part of his career from 1954 until the Hollywood years turns 81 today. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked Moore the 44th greatest guitarist in their Top 100 of All-Time list last year. Moore was Elvis’s guitarist during his Sun Record years {Elvis in his prime} and in the early years at RCA. In 2000 Scotty Moore was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
