On this day in 1972 comedian Bob Hope gave his last Christmas Show in Vietnam. For nine consecutive years Hope went to Vietnam to entertain U.S. servicemen. Hope was a big supporter of the war and an anti-communist and a promoter   of the military-industrial complex. . Hope lived to be 100, his wife Dolores lived to be 102.
