Paul Simonon who was the bassist for The Clash {The Only Band That Matters} turns 57 today. During his time with The Clash- Simonon wrote three of their songs “The Guns of Brixton” from their great “London Calling” album, “The Crooked Beat” from “Sandinista!” and a b-side “Long Time Jerk”
