The Steel Wheels performed at the school where i teach at on Tuesday evening. This is the 4th time I’ve seen them in a year and they were as usual outstanding. I am not sure how many people were in attendence but I’d guess several hundred and if they didn’t arrive fans they left as fans. At the end the crowd was buzzing about these guys. We have a couple concerts a year at the school and I don’t know how many “They need to get these guys to come back next year” I heard.

They played a lot of their great new album “Lay Down Lay Low” and a mixture of songs from their career. Too many highlights to mention but “Red Wing” is a highlight of every show. They have incredible energy. You get the feeling that for the hour and a half they were playing that there was no other place they wanted to be. I can’t wait to see them again.
