Singer -songwriter Stephen Bishop turns 61 today. Back in the last 1970’s -early 1980’s Bishop had 4 Top 40 hits- “On and On” was his biggest hit in 1977 reaching #11 on the charts, “Save It For A Rainy Day” #22, “It Might Be You” #25 and “Everybody Needs Love” #32. I have his “On and On: The Hits Of Stephen Bishop- its a pleasant listen.

Stephen Bishop also had a cameo in the classic comedy “Animal House” he was the aspiring folk singer who gets his guitar smashed by Bluto.
