Hall of Famer Richard Dent is saying what we’ve known for 25 years. The Bears had an awesome team. What a great great defense but after winning one Super Bowl Ditka lost his focus. He was too involved in being a celebrity than being a coach. I have always thought Ditka was very overrated but he did turn coaching one Super Bowl Championship into a career and big money.

no argument here. i have only one real beef with ditka – and that it was a travesty to let perry score a td – and not walter payton.
That was part of his problem..the only reason he let The Frig score..is to make himself look good..
